One thing that is great for summers that was touched on a little in the article is keeping windows open for cool air at night. I just wanted to elaborate on this a little bit. Wait until the sun goes down and the temperature cools a little. Then onpen all the windows in your home and sliding doors as well. Then before the sun comes up the next day you have to close everything up. It is important to do before the sun comes up in order to keep that cool air in. This is good for people that are out of the home most of the day for work. You can normally save the cost of running the A/C for a few weeks every summer.

As per my experience I would like to suggest use window tinting it's easiest , cheapest and most convenient way of control temperature and eliminate 99% of the harmful ultraviolet radiation to protect fabrics and finishes.Block 92% of glare.Reduce up to 76% of solar heat gain through the glass.

You may also have a cold shower bath. Even a small amount of water sprayed or splashed on you can help. Or try a face washer dipped in cold water and held against your face and forehead for instant cooling relief.
