My son LOVES the LEGO table his Dad made for him. We simply took a train table that no longer interested him and used it as a base for a Leggo Table. Measure your old table and have your local building supply store cut you a thin board slightly larger that you will just lay on top of it. Go to leggo.com and order a variety of sizes and colors of base plates. (plan the size of your table-top so that the base plates will fit evenly). Super glue the base plates to the board in a creative way, lay large books on top to make SURE they dry even and flat. Have a green base plates for grassy areas, blue for water, etc. VOILA! Each time my son builds a leggo he pops it into the appropriate area of the table, he has a whole city together! Base plates can always be popped loose and rearranged for a new surface design later. I need some good ideas for a tween boy (age 12). He's into vide games, but I wonder if I should do something that he won't grow out of. Hmmmmmm….boys are so much harder to decorate for than girls :)

If anyone has any bedroom decor ideas for an 8 year old who is a master mind when it comes to building Lego's and that is what his world consists of right now, but mom wants something that he will not grow out of and change every year? Please help….

I will soon be building a new bedroom for my 8 yr old son. And I have no idea where to even start. Sports are not his interest, but bugs are !! Are there themes with bugs, pictures of real bugs or borders with real bugs? Not cartoon bugs of course, being 8 now cartoons are not the way I want to go with his new room. He is very excited about a new room , and we both look forward to decoraing it.
