I also used a net but hung it on one wall kinda swagged and then we put things in it like army knives, fake grenades, helmets, guns etc. We hung a rope ll the way around the room as decor then laet it hang down like it’s there to climb. I used a camouflage material to make a pup tent that semi hung over his bed and curtains as well with green blinds. We put a military style camping chair in a corner to sit on and his dresser drawers I made out of filling cabinets.

Our son’s bedroom is a camo/military theme. His favorite part of the room is his Honor Wall. This is a wall in his room dedicated to displaying military photos of family and friends who have served our country. I used frames that I spray painted brown (that way I could use what I had) and they surround wooden letters spelling HONOR.

hi im one of the kids. i like a fake guns (not lite up but like a pellet or dart shooter). i can use them and display them. im thinking of the marine corps so i get vintage stuff.A.K.A. old helmets,guns,boots,and uniforms. you can display and use

Cool! I think putting more models of airplanes, battlesips and thouse stuff on the shelfs makes the room muxh better.

I am getting things ready early to do my Boys’ room in the Marine Corps theme. My Husband likes to frequent the Army/Navy Surplus store, and I have found many great ideas for things there, just by walking through! A neat idea for throw pillows is to make them out of old shirts, like maybe one Dad wore in the service, or even Grandpa…it’s a great keepsake too!

In decorating a boys room military style, or even “outdoorsman” most army navy stores carry a camoflauge netting (stuff you would hide behind or throw over something). Recently a friend of mine purchased the netting and tacked to ceiling in her son’s bedroom, with a little bit of droop for depth.. what an amazing transformation it made!
